Welcome to Our Barnyard!

Well, I decided to be cool like everyone else, and start a family blog. I think the title of our blog is perfect! Don't you? However, I cannot take credit for it. Clint was the creative cat on that one.

We're keeping busy. I'm sure many of you know that if you'd tried calling me recently. Currently, I'm in the middle of writing a Thematic Unit that integrates Social Studies and Language Arts, plus it has to be adapted for students with special needs and English language learners. I'm still not finished with it, and it's already 32 pages long! I'm predicting that it will be about 45 pages when I'm completely finished with it. The bad part is that it's due in 3 days, so I guess I better get going on finishing it up! It's probably the most stressful project we have this semester, so when it gets turned in on Monday I'm sure I'll feel a huge burden lifted!

I only have a year left, so that's way exciting. Clint and I decided that my graduating present would be a tour of Europe. That's definitely motivation to keep on trucking! So if that sounds interesting to anyone, let us know..we'd love for you to come along.

Alright, that's it for now. If anything new and exciting happens soon, I'll be sure to check back in and update the blog. Leave posts and let me know how you're doing as well!
